About Me
Well hello! I am a 27 years old student in Bielefeld (the town that doesn't exist, according to a german internet myth), studying Pedagogy and Literary Studies. Before that I lived 3 years in Vienna, Austria and did some Philosophy and Theater-, Film- and Media-Studies. I like to read pretty much everything that draws my attention, strolling around in nature and do cultural stuff: like theater, spending my evenings in cinemas and going to concerts. And I can do some magic do! Perhaps I can show you some tricks when we meet.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
First of all I like to meet new and interesting folks, obviously. It's always nice to meet people at their home, share their view of the place they live in and spent some time chatting, cooking, partying and laughing together.
Everything that needs sometimes a trip away from little Bielefeld.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: I like that pseudo-intectual stuff like jazz and classical music, but I came to realize that I am not that avangardist in that direction as I thouth I would be. But don't worry I like a lot of pop music too. I adore Joanna Newsom or Dirty Projectors
Film: Some namedropping is needed here- Antonioni, P.T. and Wes Anderson, Billy Wilder, Jim Jarmusch...and you know where I am going with this, bad Cineast :)
Books: a lot
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I might sound like a cliché but consider the Camino de Santiago a great travel experience. In my view it's a special kind of freedom to travel by foot for over one month going just in one direction trought mountains and fields.
But the small thing of watching our cat "Demian" from our balcony strolling around in the garden by dawn is also one of the nice things in my life.
