ABOUT ME

Interestingly, I just moved half way around the world to work in a city and live in a country where I cannot do most of the things that I love. That said - I am having fun and experiencing a lot. I moved to Jeddah to begin my international teaching career at the American school. I have been a teacher for nine years both at the university and secondary level. I look forward to traveling during extended breaks and long weekends. Who knows? I could be on your couch. And don't worry I know proper etiquette; I will pay for all the drinks and dinners.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I just returned from Istanbul where my couch surfing experience was amazing. I met many great friends with whom I hope hope to keep in touch.

Intereses

Foreign languages, European football, global politics, French and German philosophy with a heavy dose of deconstruction and a touch of postmodern theology, progressive politics, Mark Rothko and fine scotch.

I am currently reading The Children's Book by AS Byatt, and as I type this I am listening to Ladytron and drinking tea as opposed to coffee which is what I usually drink.
