My name is Victoria and I have a traveler's heart. I am inspired and at my best when I'm learning about cultures, phrases from any language, and all kinds of history. I left the US in 2011 for good, and I'm at my happiest when I'm meeting people from different backgrounds and cultures. While I teach English for a living, I would have to say that I am the master of elementary level languages because I get bored and move on too quickly.

I've been to over 50 countries, lived in 8, but for now, I'm based in Canterbury.

My bucket list places are Papua New Guinea, Antarctica, and Easter Island.

I've met quite a few amazing people from Couchsurfing! Most of the people you meet here are really open-minded and even sometimes inspiring. Travelers are not afraid to break out of the secluded bubble that they were raised in. Anyone who can do that, can easily be a friend of mine.
