About Me

Hello,

my name is Vy and I am a very outgoing person. I'm always curious and ready to learn new things that may come my way. I always love meeting new people and understanding their view points. I've couchsurfed with my cousins in Europe and it was an amazing experience. Just brings out the best in the country I visit and I get a taste of the locals.

To me, travelling means to dig down to the roots and be surrounded by locals. I love to travel and explore.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've couchsurfed through my cousins app before and loved the experience. Yeah, it was scary at first but when you get to meet new people through something so simple and down to earth, it really bring a different perspective to travelling. I love it because I get to venture a trip in a totally different experience instead of booking hotels.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have no filter when it comes to music. I'm open to listening to anything.
Just personally not a fan of Country or Heavy Metal.

I fall in love with any movies that is beautifully shot or designed.
Not hard to please. I love Fantasy movies mostly... Gets me dreaming of an alternate universe.

Typical but the Harry Potter series are my #1, any mangas, romance, fantasy, mystery books. I'll enjoy all of it if it manages to bring this inner kid out of me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My humanitarian trip to Guatemala. It changed me. I saw the world differently in a spec of 2 weeks.

I went there to build schools for kids that lived up the mountain with very little ressources. We repainted the walls and built it to make it better for them. Played with the kids and taught them. We also planted trees.

I also had 4 hours of Spanish a day before heading to the mountains to work.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My smile? I'm just kidding. I have quite the skill in the kitchen. If you want a taste of wether it's french, japanese, vietnamese, chinese, etc, I can learn to cook it :) I also enjoy baking.

I'm also great at making conversation so you'll never be bored!!
