While I was studying abroad, I had the opportunity to travel around. But I couldn't wait until others had found enough motivation get plans into motion, so I started to look for ways to make friends while on the road. Then I found couchsurfing and the rest was history.

When I travel, I want to take my time to get to know the place and their people better. Couchsurfing can provide the best possibilities to do this.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Pretty mainstream but also all over the place at the same time. E.g. I have seen Boyce Avenue, The 1975, 5SOS and Jeremy Zucker live. I'm a 94-liner, so early 2000's R&B and Hip-Hop always evoke strong nostalgia. I also like Jazz.

Books: "No Exit" from Sartre (yes, technically it's a play), "Tschick" by Wolfgang Herrendorf (best coming-of-age that never fails to make me laugh). And whatever book I've had read recently and am thinking about.

Movies: Rear Window, Breakfast at Tiffany's, Lost in Translation, Ratatouille, Inception, The Grand Budapest Hotel, La La Land, Little Women...
