Music, Movies, and Books

I've recently read The Goldfinch by Donna Tartt - a 700p book centred around a small painting. This book book gave me some extra inspiration for travelling further than ever before.

I enjoy a great range of movies. Paprika, Frozen, Oldboy, The Life of Pi, Pulp Fiction, The Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, The Matrix, Predestination, Ex Machina, Solaris, Casino Royale, Rush and all things Christopher Nolan - just to name the very few.

I love very varied music. Live blues and jazz excites me. I currently mainly listen to latin music (salsa, bachata) due dancing/DJing, but also enjoy some electronic music (Squarepusher, Bonobo), french jazz (Paris Combo) and more popular rock music (Foo Fighters, Royal Blood) along the classics like The Beatles and Led Zeppelin.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Powered through 24h 3 Peaks Challenge in 22h 50mins.

Saw a most amazing sunset in Santorini from a spot not known to tourists.

Organised a road-trip along the Bavarian alps, which included cross-Germany driving, mountain climbing and visiting a Disney model-castle. I've lost my camera in the Alps, but I still carry the memories with me.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach Lithuanian language, help practicing English and possibly give salsa/bachata lessons.

I want to learn about the customs and character of other countries as well as other languages.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Accommodation, some local knowledge, a pretty good recipe for a cake and a good sense of humour (hopefully)!
