Interests

Since being in Japan I have fallen in love with the outdoors – in spring, summer and autumn I’ll be working up a major sweat hiking and cycling, and in the winter I’m out snowboarding every free day I get. Snowboarding is my favourite activity, and I am fortunate to be located in northern Japan. I like taking pictures so I usually have a camera with me when I’m out and about. When I’m at home, I like to chill out with some music, films, TV shows, anime or games.

Music, Movies, and Books

I really enjoy listening to funk, soul, old school hip hop, jazz, latin and others... lots really. My favourite music is by a DJ called Nujabes. I like lots of films from all sorts of genres, there're too many to list, but recent favourites are The Revenant, Logan and Get Out.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I saved my cousin from drowning in a public swimming pool when we were both young.

Aside from a good chinwag and a good laugh, I’ve been in Japan for a few years now, so I’m able to give ideas on plenty of places to see and do locally and nationally. If I have the time, I'd be more than happy to show you around.
