About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Find a plan B in life. Meawhile, meet people, and have fun.

ABOUT ME

The long version is long. It has racoons taking up ancient greek boxing in it, and strawberry jam, and me on a spaceboat sailing away from an exploding star with hans zimmer music playing too loud.

The short version is shorter so here it is. I was studying english literature for a while, and have been on sort of a pause for the past two years, travelling a bit (canada! :O) chilling a lot, attempting to grow a beard and such sucheries. Not much luck on the latter.

I am friendly, open-minded, housebroken, and I like fun in all its possible shapes, especially if it involves singing too loud or trying out new beers.

The longer version should hit your nearest bookstore in 2034, stay tuned for news about it. But like, be super patient.

PHILOSOPHY

that's a hard box to fill. Either I write a book, or I just uh. Hum.

For one thing, I find that assuming everybody you meet is trying his/her own best, even when they suck, makes things better, in general.

Beer helps. Unless your problem is driving home.

And uh. yeah...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can't host just yet, I'll make sure to make up for it when I can, like a fox.
Until then, I can promise to be the bestest guest you've ever had.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

No actual couch surfing experience so far, but I met a bunch of you guys in the past 2 years and was generally blown away by the level of most-excellentness you have shown me, in Canada or here in France.

Interests

I'm interested in pretty much anything if it involves cool people, but say, if you had to list my TOP 5 favorite things there would be, not necessarily in that order:

Music, listening to it too much, singing along too loud, talking about it too long, generally have lots of it, at all time.

People, meeting new ones, seeing long lost ones again, hanging out with friends of friends and thinking about how great they are and how I'd like one for my living room.

Stories, reading them, watching them, inventing them in my head and losing track of what's actually going on around me because I'm trying to resolve some plothole in something I just came up with.

Dancing when the time feels right, and the music is awesome, and I'm not planning on seeing serious people wearing that shirt anyway.

Learning about things, cool animals, cool people, complicated theories, discussions on morals, finding out I was waaaay off all this time. Or spot on, even though I'd just assumed some wild guess all along.

Music, Movies, and Books

movies... here's a few I found truly moving in some way or another: Garden State, Shane Black's Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, Into the wild, Punishment Park, and err... many others :)

Music... there always will be my all time favorites, queen, radiohead, jeff buckley, david bowie, muse to some extent... those I will always come back to and have listened to for years.
My last musical crushes would be, dayna kurtz, regina spektor, man man, eddi reader, the decemberists, the ukulele orchestra of great britain, delta spirit, and too many other for me to cite them all.
This all is not very up to date, but still good.

and books, I'm not much of a reader, sadly. If I could pick a few that left their mark, I really loved "extremely loud and incredibly close" written by Jonathan Foer, "the hippopothamus" by Stephen Fry, and "the gun seller" by his pal Hugh Laurie.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Trick question!

Dammit Cs you're making me feel self-conscious.

I uh. I'll get back to you!

Teach, Learn, Share

I teach life for a few beers an hour, call me. Possibility of getting a refund (in beers too) if the lesson lasts too long. Or if they suck. Or if you feel like having a beer.
I'm happy to learn everything I can. Lately I've been thinking I should learn more languages. And building stuff too, I'd like to learn how to buidl tree houses for example :O
