ABOUT ME

Wow...talk about yourself...something I don't like to do. I am married to a great man, Wayne, and he works in the postal service at Youngstown State University. We have two children, Wayne 29, who lives next door and Nadine 27, who lives with us. She is a teacher of elementary children. We are easy going people; love to have fun; love to laugh and tell funny stories about our exchange students who have been under our supervision or our home; we do not smoke; we are not judgmental people; we absolutely love to travel and meet new people; we love being adventourous! So...there you have it!

PHILOSOPHY

We believe that God created each and everyone of us and that we are created in His image. It is not our place to judge anyone in this life! My family attends church and we enjoy visiting churches around the world to see how people worship. We live our lives as if today was our last day on earth...to the fullest. We try not to go to bed angry at each other. We believe we can do all things through Christ who strengtheneth us! We think it is awesome that we all have the choice to believe what we want!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We surfed Europe and now we would like to become a host to recipocate the kindness that were shown to us.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My daughter and I couchsurfed in Barcelona with Vicky...she was great. We also couchsurfed in Paris with Cleo and Jerry....AWESOME people. We had the opportunity to couchsurf in Berlin with Marco and Fredi...it was a last minute request and they came through for us. In Vienna and are being hosted by Josefin! We arrived in Vienna with no place to go and she met us near the train and took us home. I couldn't ask for nicer people all around. It has been an awesome expeience and we can't wait to give back when we get home to CS in our area! We couch surfed in Denmark with remarkable people.

We finally couch surfed in the USA with Mark from Cleveland! He was super nice!

We just had our first couch surfer in our home, Tess. She was a sweet girl from NY traveling to Michigan. We were her stopover. She was super nice.

Music, Movies, and Books

Proposal, Killers, Madea movies, Baby Boom, Top Gun, we love watching Everyone Love Raymond, we enjoy TV shows like NCIS. Lord of the Rings (my husband), Remember the Titans, Blindside, Bourne Series (my husband), How to lose a Guy in 10 days, are some of our favorite movies.

I love to listen to older music, Christian music, soft rock, older hard rock, pretty much all music, but I (Cindy) don't like to listen to opera!

We enjoy reading the Bible because it covers every situation in life and we love to learn from people who really made mistakes in life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Took our children around the United States to see history instead of just letting them read it in a book.

One of the most beautiful places we have ever been was Crater Lake in Oregon! The water was the deepest blue we have ever seen.

We enjoy all kinds of people....but we truly enjoy those who are genuine, honest, and trustworthy.

I have enjoyed couch surfing with my daughter in countries around the world. We enjoy meeting all kinds of people. We love to have fun and share our lives and listen to others about their lives and experiences.
