About Me

I am a 28 years old argentine girl, traveling with my boyfriend to Australia with a working holiday visa. We will be traveling a lot from there. It is not easy to leave home and the loved ones, to leave our jobs. But we think it is worth it. We love traveling. I went to a French school in Argentina, so that is why I speak fluent French, and how I started loving going abroad. My first trip to Europe was on a student exchange to the city of Vannes in France when I was 16. I am still friends with the person who received me and who after came home. I believe people can be very kind if you are too, and who knows, you make a new friend.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have not much experience in couchsurfing. I have only left my country and gone to hostels or visited friends abroad, or the exchange I mentioned before. But I want to start knowing this system if I will be living in Australia for one year with the working holiday Visa. I hope I can travel places when I am there. When I come back to Buenos Aires next year and have my own home (I still live with my parents) I hope to receive nice people too.

Interests

Well, as mostly all of us, I love traveling. LOVE it. My last roadtrip was to Tandil, a town near Buenos Aires (500 km) we could go trekking. I love trekking. I went to the South of Argentina several times and had the most beatiful trekking trips with friends. My last abroad travel was to Chile. I went to the seaside to Valparaiso and Vina del Mar and visited all of Pablo Neruda(chilean poet) homes.
I love architecture, I am an architect. I always say I studied architecture because I love to draw and also love to travel, and architecture is a way of traveling.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love Blade Runner (and Ridley Scott movies), and anything with Denzel Washington.
I love culture and learning from different places so I can read, watch or hear anything and then make judgement.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My parents loved to travel too, so when I was a little they used to take all of us to these amazing roadtrips all across the Argentina. We have gone by car to Salta (north of Argentina) , South of Brazil, and Patagonia(South of Argentina) several times. I am very thankful I had those parents.
I have done an amazing trekking to the Fitz Roy with my mother in March 2014.
Amazing mountain.

I can only share my life experiences. Also had worked as an architect in Argentina.
I want to keep learning about that, I have learnt to use several softwares to draw 3D buildings.
