Hello everyone,

So the names Wade. I grew up in a small town in west Texas. I left America in January 2012 and I've been working as a civilian contractor. I lived in the Marshall Islands for 2.5 years and I currently live in Aomori Japan. I love traveling and meeting new people. Some of my friends tell me that I have never met a stranger. I love almost everyone I meet and I do more for others than I do for myself. I think about life often and about the future. I often think I shouldn't travel and I should save more money. I would rather enjoy myself while I'm young and see new places vs when I'm old and my body gets tired easy. Hopefully when I'm an old man I can think back about all the great times I had and all the friends I have made.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm new at couch surfing but basically the reason I joined is to meet new people and hopefully have some awesome experiences. There's no better way to learn a culture than from a local.
