ABOUT ME

Joined the Navy ten years ago. In that time have done a heap of travelling around Australia and SE Asia but really want to get to Europe and South America - which is apart of the reason I joined up to Couchsurfing, hopefully I can get a few friends abroad!

I completed a Meteorological Diploma recently to forecast weather for the Navy, which has given me a heap of time to pursue a passion I've wanted to do for years - Write Sci-Fi!!

I'm hugely interested in all the sciences, but enjoy reading and writing - hence the Sci-Fi...

My other hobbies include playing the Guitar, Ukulele, and scaring away the neighborhood cats with my amazing singing voice. I also enjoy cooking, especially any recipes by Jamie Oliver. I'm trying to get into the Mountain bike and snowboarding scenes. I prefer team sports than going to the gym, although I'm thinking more non-contact these days... so now mainly into tennis and touch football, but still love to watch the cricket and rugby.

I usually have 3-4 days off in a row (I do shift work). So if your passing through Canberra or want a place to stay for a while make sure you give me a bell.
