ABOUT ME

I'm a very outgoing individual. I love meeting new people and trying new things. You'll often find me having random conversations with someone I meet behind the counter, at a shopping centre or just randomly at an event. I really enjoy doing new and potentially crazy things, and I'm always looking for ways to better myself, my outlook and my walk on this earth. I have to be positive about everything, because life is too short not to be happy and to worry about petty things - like a fight, or whether something won't work or not, or why they name an orange after the colour. You know what I'm talking about...the English language is a funny mistress...

PHILOSOPHY

Be positive in everything you do because there is a silver lining to everything. Because today's failure is just another lesson successfully learnt in wisdom.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just joined, but wanna get more into it :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couch surfed back to my hometown and was lucky enough to stay for a month. It was a great experience and it was awesome to be back where I grew up as a child - especially going past all the familiar places I used to frequent as a half-pint.

兴趣

Playing and singing music (I do vocals, guitar and bass guitar), creating art, dancing (clubbing, salsa, sokkie/langarm), playing touch rugby, outdoor type activities like hiking, and another wierd one...watching clever adverts. I love the creative side of a well designed TV/print/radio advert!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I organised a salsa party of around 100 people from scratch at a well known club, and got the 2 best salsa dj's in Cape Town to play at the party. It was a great success and learnt an incredible amount about myself, my skills, and about event planning. It was successful because everyone there thoroughly enjoyed it, and are very keen for the next one.

I can teach drawing, bass guitar, how to play certain South African sports, and teach the basics of Afrikaans (basically "baby" Dutch). I have much knowledge about business and business processes, and I'm very analytical in my thinking as well as creative. Ask me anything, I'm always keen for a challenge. And I like teaching salsa dancing!
