Me in a few words: art, travel, hiking, and food!
I'm currently working in the Washington D.C. metro area of Virginia.
I previously lived in Andorra and Vigo, Spain while I was teaching with the Fulbright Program. Before that I lived in Costa Rica working for Outward Bound, an outdoor education organization. At university I studied art and nowadays I continue to draw and create when I can. I really enjoy adventures in the great outdoors and good food/drink!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really loved hosting people in Andorra but haven't been able to accommodate guests since. I hope to get the most out of any place I visit, and to make some new friends from all over the world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

2017 - Camped overnight on Volcan Acatenango in Guatemala and watched Volcan Fuego erupt in bright red lava fireworks all night long

2017 - Hiked the Laugavegur and Fimmvorduhals trails in Iceland across sublime landscapes of fire and ice

2016 - Completed the HRP/GR11 trail from the Atlantic to the Mediterranean for 50 days through the Pyrenees

2015 - Hiked for a week through the wild Costa Rican rainforest, staying in traditional rural homestays along the way and finishing on the idyllic tropical Pacific coastline

2015 - Scuba dived in Bocas del Toro, Panama, including a night dive in bioluminescence

2013 - Skied on an active volcano, multi-day tramped, blackwater rafted (underground river cave tubing) and bungy jumped in New Zealand
