Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
to laugh often
ABOUT ME
I love chocolate, tree climbing, and immersing myself in a good book. I think that horses, lilacs, and campfires are the most delightful of smells. I am happiest when dancing.
PHILOSOPHY
a firm handshake, a listening ear, and looking someone in the eye makes all the difference. to be creative and industrious are important to me.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Today is my first day - I am still learning!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have previously couch slept (a poofy thing in a rickety cabin overhanging Lake Wentworth in Wolfeboro, NH where I worked as a camp counselor). I look forward to couchsurfing - sounds more action-packed than couch sleeping.
Interests
photography, learning guitar, cooking, yoga, poetry, shoes, and making ice cream in an ice cream ball (so far, bubblegum and maple milk are the flavors of success).

Music, Movies, and Books
Favorite movie: Anne of Green Gables (always wished I was a redhead), Runaway Bride (love weddings), and Amelie (eccentric and clever)
Favorite books (from my youth): Shadow Spinner and Ella Enchanted
Favorite books (of late): The Pilot's Wife (Shreve) and The Line (Grushin)
Favorite music: Celine Dion, Josh Groban, Kina Grannis
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
my piano student, an 8-year-old boy with autism, making his own language for music: notes called "ckiapaw" and "upside down pecal."
Teach, Learn, Share
teach: how to make a scrumptious omelet, a line dance, how to select an eye-appealing font, or how to roll a tent to fit into its original bag
learn: how to sail in open seas, how to play violin, how to sharpen my kitchen knives, how to speak French fluently in my memere's (grandmother's) Acadian dialect
