CURRENT MISSION

in mid November I am going to Kathmandu to meet up with my youngest child. He has been in Asia for almost two years and has promised me an adventure on his way back to the US. We plan to "surf" our way through much of the Middle East.

ABOUT ME

Love travel,love dogs, 5 grandkids. Have had the chance to do a teacher exchange in Russia and Cuba and spent time in places from China to Senegal/The Gambia to Hawaii.

Glad to host. Got two spare bedrooms now with the kids on their own. Just the husband, who loves travel too and two labs and a goofy old cat hanging out at home.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The birth of my kids. My travels to Russia, Africa and Cuba--not to mention the other 26 countries I've been to. Being a member of the American Library Association and attending the first convention held in NOLA after Katrina. My son who is now in Kathmandu was blown out of NOLA and Tulane University by Katrina and was in Chengdu China for the earthquake.
