About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Just being happy!

ABOUT ME

I dance at lest tree days a week to stay in shape and off course cuddle with my puppy. If I've got the time I also like to go out dancing on clubs ;)

I've always loved to travel and meet new, interesting people and different cultures and this site seems to be the perfect place to meet new exciting people all around the world.

PHILOSOPHY

As I've mention earlier I've just started changing the way I live and think in order to become a more happy person. Be positive is my motto of the day. You can always turn a shitty day around if you work hard enough and don't give in to the bad mood. It's not always easy, I'll tell you that, but I won't give up.

Nowadays I always try to do new things and meet new people and putting myself in situations that makes me evolve as a person and CS seems to be the logical next step. I'm a whole different person today compared to just one year ago and I've gotten really good feedback from both family and friends that I'm a more happy person nowadays.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Since I live in a 24 square meter large appartement there's not that much space but my bed is 140cm wide and one time we actually fitted tree persons there without it feeling weird.

If you're into techno, DnB and/or dubstep music and in town for the weekend I'm your guide to the clubs ;).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've met a lot of interesting people from around the world and even though I haven't slept on someone's couch (yet) I always feel secure when I'm going to new places because of CS and all the wonderful people here (CS-meetings ROCKS!)! Thanks to CS I can travel (alone) to a new place and feel secure that something fun and/or exciting is going to happen.

Ever since I became a member and started meeting more foreign people I’ve started to see Stockholm tru their eyes which has made me appreciate my home town even more!

One of my fondest memories was when I hosted a Chinese girl and showed her a slice of how ordinary Swedish people live and invited her to have a typical Swedish dinner at my parents house. She really appreciated the experience!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love electronic music. Especially hard, industrial and "evil" music. I'm not very good at name dropping so I'll skip that. My favourite genrés right now is Drum and Bass and Dubstep but I'm also keen on electro house, Techno (but not that slow minimal sh*t. That's a real sleeping pill) and Body music.
I love all kind of movies (yes, I can even watch chick flicks) but has a thing for movies that make you think. I'm always on the look out for movies that moves me in some way, be it eather a horror movie that scares she sh*it out of me or a love story that makes me weep. Stanley Kubrick and Darren Aronofsky are my favorite directors.
I also like to read a lot and some of my favourite authors are Hunter S Thompson, Richard Dawking, Neil Strauss, Terry Pratchett, Neil Gaiman.
Humour: Jon Stewart, Stephen Colbert and Bill Maher are my comedy house gods!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Grand Canyon in Nevada. Such an incredible scenery that you MUST see.

While visiting a friend in Bucharest the thing that struck me he most where the hospitality from EVERYONE!

Teach, Learn, Share

Since I started meeting Couchsurfers here in Stockholm I realized that I actually know a lot about Stockholm and the citys history and I LOVE being a tour guide for my fellow CS:ers. If you need any recommendation (for well, anything) don't hesitate to ask or book me for a guided tour outside of the usual tourist streets.

Oh, if you're planning to move to Stockholm and are a descent asp.net/C#-developer looking for job contact me! We are always looking for good developers at my work!
