I did my first solo backpacking trip in 2013 to SE Asia, and have been hooked ever since. Since then, I've done a couple of 3-4 week backpacking trips, and a longer 2 year trip from 2016 - 2018. Now I have a normal person job, so I usually do smaller 1.5-2 week trips or work remotely somewhere for a bit longer.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To better understand the places and the people I visit, and to give back to the traveling community when people are visiting the US (NYC is expensive as shit).

Interests

I've got a lot of interests and am pretty flexible with how I spend my time. I like a good night out with fun people (dancing, good conversations, karaoke, beer pong, etc.) as much as I like reading, exploring a new neighborhood, trying new restaurants, learning a new skill like dancing, language exchange, working out, hiking, or blazing and hanging out at the beach.
