About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To discover new things about the world and myself as well as to take my dog as many new places as possible
ABOUT ME
I enjoy traveling of course and am always looking to expand on my horizons.
I use a buddy system when traveling, so you can always expect me to bring my best friend along whether this be man, woman, or beast!
Yes, I am a dog lover and will travel with furry butts. Of course this is near impossible when I'm traveling abroad.
Studied biology in university and so I really enjoy learning about local flora and fauna, geological formations, star gazing, etc. On the other hand, I am a cosmetic chemist by trade so local marketing and sales trends are also of interest to me.
I'm unfortunately also an absent-minded scientist. Luckily, I have great friends willing to travel with me and so we balance each other well!
I've lived in a lot of different places within the U.S. and am proud of these places I called home. Oftentimes the U.S. is portrayed as almost one flat amalgamate culture but it's not true. These little quirks within local regions is why I like to travel outside of a major cities and to various regions.
I'm big on food. I absolutely love to cook and spend wwwwwaaaaayyyy too much time doing this. I always visit local grocery stores multiple times just to understand how stores are stocked and what produce/goods are carried. Best way to learn a new language! hahaha Reading produce signs, price tags, and menus.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have couchsurfed a few times and it was absolutely amazing, I met great people! Alot of my friends have had wonderful experiences couchsurfing and I admire alot of what people within this community have passions for.
The culture of homespun hospitality just cannot be beat.
I also really enjoy hosting people on a personal level. However, current situations make it difficult for me to host. Ask anyways.
You must be okay with a well-behaved dog running amuck.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movie: Wreck-It Ralph
I read alot of non-fiction at escargot pace. Currently reading "Slavery, Inc." about human trafficking. My last reads were "Predictably Irrational", a book on floral arrangements, a bunch of cookbooks, some thermodynamic text book hahahahahah
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Either of these:
1. Go behind the scenes of the Plymouth Natural Museum and see all the amazing stuff locals had collected and donated over decades. As our guide liked to say after each show-and-tell--"IT'S BRILLIANT! JUST BRILLIANT!'
2. Trek the Classic Inca Trail with extreme altitude sickness. I do not exaggerate when I say I puked every 2-5 steps. At my worse, I used two people as crutches.
Teach, Learn, Share
Everyone and anyone of course!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Fun conversation, a beer or whatever locals drink, some culinary skills, and maybe some bread.
