ABOUT ME

I love making new friends with people around, both foreigners and locals, because I think friends are one of the most important part of one's life. We can share our feelings to our friends, having nice time among them. I'm glad to have my classmates and friends so far, thanks to all of you.

I enjoy life. I enjoy learning, experiencing, progressing, and even teaching. It's not for money, but for doing something I want, and find my own way to live.

In addition to my Europe travel trip in 2009, I have also stayed in Neustadt an der Weinstraße (Germany) working there last year.

Currently I am back to HK and working as a full-time freelancer to develop technical products (like web solutions, applications, interactive installation, etc.). This year (2013) I have started my own business, which also means I can have flexible working schedule. So feel free to ask my vacancy and hopefully we can meet and have a nice day in Hong Kong.

If interest, you may have a look of my website here.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

In year 2009, I planned a trip to Europe for a few months and my friends suggested me to try couchsurfing so I can meet with local people. Before starting my trip I started my account here and had hosted my first Couchsurfing friend Nana in Hong Kong; since then I started looking for hosts in different countries, and fortunately I met lots of nice people and made me thankful to this platform so much :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been a guide in Hong Kong for:
Nana(London)

Many nice couchsurfers I have met:
Kurro(Malaga), Katrin(Hamburg), Jens(Hannover), Katha(Cologne), Lars(Munich), Hannah(Kassel), Bernhild(Berlin), Hanna(Berlin), Mikkel(Aalborg), Eva(Aarhus), Tine & Diantha(Copenhagen), Anne(Copenhagen), Andreas(Stockholm), Thomas(Paris), Philipp(Paris), Tayrinne(Luxembourg), Luc(Brussels), Bob(The Hague), Robert(Amsterdam)

Thanks all of you for your places, and when any of you come to Hong Kong someday, I will definitely give my warmest welcome to you!

Interests

I love sports like soccer, swimming, hiking, cycling, etc. and have been a Manchester United fans (a mild one) since I'm about 8 :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: The Dark Knight is my most favorite movie so far. I love watching films of many genres: thriller, action, Chinese Kung Fu, comedy, romance, etc. Almost all kinds of them!! I would be (a little bit) scared when watching scary movie. I enjoy watching them, though.

Music: RnB, Rock the not-noisy one, some Pop, some Soul and others that I don't know how to define... For the singers, I love the sound of Mariah Carey, Alicia Keys, Leona Lewis. I hear songs from Michael Jackson (cool!), James Blunt, Westlife, Air Supply, Jay Chou, Eason Chan and many Chinese singers, both in Cantonese and Mandarin.

Books: I read foreign tales when I was small. Have some understanding about Chinese History from the stories especially for the Three Kingdoms era. I read more Chinese books (some are translated) then the English one. I read novels and books about psychology, relations among humans, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Met lots of great people through CS.

Watching live football match in Old Trafford: the holy land of Man Utd fans!

Teach, Learn, Share

Years ago I taught swimming in HK, and nowadays I normally make use of my technical skills to help with my friends, family and relatives on their computer issues.

I would definitely like to learn cooking, photography, art, and almost anything from people I meet. I'd like to have more conversation with people in English, and learn foreign languages.

During my traveling in Germany, I found it's fun teaching Chinese to European as well :)

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, China, Denmark, France, Germany, Japan, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Netherlands, Philippines, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Taiwan, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In
