ABOUT ME

I have grown up in different countries (south africa, belgium, germany) and so I sometimes think, I am at home in the world :-) Since childhood, I am very much into nature, being outdoors, working with plants, I am a rather playful, creative person, not so much into big city life, modern architecture, office work etc. - can do, but doesn't make me happy. Some people would call me a hippie, although I am not a typical one ... maybe a mixture of a scientist, explorer, hippie and dreamer :-)

PHILOSOPHY

Well, I am more and more discovering, that I don't want to follow fixed strategies, concepts, plans anymore, like many people do - but live more, what's really inside me - listen to my intuition, to my feelings, don't think to much about "will I manage to do this" - but just do it, laugh, feel free, feel alive, create something new and colourful in this world. Have always been dreaming of a life in an ecovillage, living together with friends, making our own small ecological businesses, inviting people from around the world, creating permaculture gardens ... and in fact, I do take this dream serious, but dont have a hurry. I think, there is no need to rush it, but rather a need to collect a lot of experiences from around the world.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I guess, they mean participation in couchsurfing ? :-) Well, I discovered this site many years ago, but it didn't work on my old fashioned computer ... now, times changed, computers changed, and I'll finally manage to use this :-)
If I am not travelling myself, I would love to host people in my places ... I tend to not stay too long in one place, always feel like - want to see the world again. But I love to live in beautiful nature places, so staying with me is always a bit ... another world :-)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Well, not much - I actually did do something like couchsurfing with all my friends since years, we all life in different places, and just stay with another, when were in the region of the other :-) But my experience here just begins :)

Realizing an intential community project together with friends in north germany, knowing nothing, having many dreams, doing lots of mistakes, suffering a lot, enjoying a lot and learning a lot :)

Well, I am very experienced in meteorology, weather forecasting ... but also, I can tell you a lot about ecovillages and intentional communities, and how they can grow and thrive. Skills how to grow gardens, build beautiful organic houses, Ah, so much more, ask me :-)
