Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think one of the most enjoyable things in life is to be friendly to people you otherwise wouldn't get the chance to be. If I see someone overloaded with travellers' backpacks, or looking confused with a map, I always think of being in the same situation and try to help.

It seems that couchsurfing is all about that spirit of helping your fellow traveller and more than that, about sharing previous experiences and offering up the chance for shared future experiences with people whose feet just can't seem to keep to just one city, or just one country.
