About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Go for it. What you have to lose, you won't miss.
ABOUT ME
Much as I say I'll try anything once, the idea of jumping out of a plane completely terrifies me. Mad props to you brave souls who have already conquered the skies!
I love dancing and nature, art of all kinds and being active, traveling and adventuring, but people are my greatest interest. I love figuring out what makes people tick the world over, swapping stories and secrets, sharing passions and perspectives, all of us teachers and students in a global classroom.
No one thing defines me better than being a teacher. I thrive in helping others, in simple honesty, and living with a big, open heart. My dream is to spend the next 5-10 years living abroad and studying a few new cultures/ languages very closely, then returning to the States to open a multi-cultural daycare/ preschool for kids, helping open the door for the next generation of compassionate global citizens.
PHILOSOPHY
Being open is more important than being right.
Work hard, laugh often.
Love, always, love.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm so glad CS exists! I've met so many lovely people through this site! Primarily, I use CS to meet new people and learn about the countries I'm traveling to. CSers are always so kind and helpful! While on a home-stay in Costa Rica, local CSers opened their home up for a Halloween party and my host-brother and I had THE BEST time!! Everyone was so kind and welcoming, so many caring and bright people coming together!
Since then, I've hosted CSers at my house - for a couch or a home-cooked meal - or around town and have been building new friendships that cross the continents!
