ABOUT ME

We live in a 250 years old house in small village with just 44 inhabitants. We have 5 Kids and try to live as ecologically as possible (solar heating, photovoltaik-power, full electric car, less car use and more cycling etc.) I love to meet people by travelling by ourself or welcoming travellers here...
We are militant monsmokers (no way of smoking on the whole property!) and do not drink alcohol (maybe a wine from time to time). We have a dog (sleeping in the entrance hall) and a cat (stays outside) - just in case of allergies.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

some throughout Germany, Norway and Belgium, sometime alone, somtime as a couple and sometime even with kids. We had only the best experiences. We also use cycling host directories (warmshowers.org and dachgeber.de).

Interessi

Family, cycling (Tandem, Racebike, MTB), travelling, hiking, any kind of outdoor sports, farm life, animals, throwing stones into the water, music, arthouse movies, working with wood, taking care of refugees around our hometown, beeing a refugee from Mecklenburg towards Saxony, vintage cars from before the war, swimming, hugging our dog, collecting litter on dirty beaches, camping, kayaking, reading, planing ways to earn some money off the beaten track (some ideas work, some not, most never tried due to a lack of time), sit in the forest or at the beach or on a mountain top. special interest in northern countries (Scandinavia, Svalbard, Canada)...

I was one year volunteering in Papua New Guinea.
And cycled with our younger kids through Europe.
