ABOUT ME
I work as an engineer in Oslo. I live in the eastern part of the city.
I have spent almost all my life in my homeland Poland. I grew up on the outskirts of Wroclaw (largest city in southwestern Poland, the capital of Lower Silesia region).
In 2009 I moved to Norway.
I have always been socially involved and worked quite a lot as a volunteer. I enjoy to contact new people form different cultures/countries and exchange views and experiences.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In 2000 I established together with my friends the youth organisation Semper Avanti (www.semperavanti.org). In the years 2001-2009 I co-organized and took a part in numerous youth initiatives in Poland and many other European countries. Thanks to that activity hundreds of young people had opportunity to discover another counties and cultures.
In 2002 I co-established a local football club Długołęka 2000, where I also worked as a volunteer.
Places and moments I remember particularly well are:
hitch-hiking trip from Poland to Spain in the age of 17.
3 travels to the Balkans in 2003-2004
Travel to Guadeloupe in 2003
summer language course in Moscow in 2005
work as a volunteer in Selbu (Norway) in 2009/10.
In 2013 I was volunteer in rural Africa in Mozambique (3 weeks) wher I was a football coach/teacher for youngsters.
In 2015 I participated in peace project about communication between Israelis and Palestinians, in the area of Death Sea in Palestinian Autonomy.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: I can teach Norwegian on the basic level and my mother tongue Polish
I can give some practical advises to people who move to Norway and have to make first steps in the new society (formalities, accommodation, ways to find a job)
Learn: I learn Portuguese language (intermediate) and spanish (begynner). I would like to meet somebody who could help me to learn that beautiful languages.
