ABOUT ME

I am a very enthusiastic person, who always welcome the chance to meet new people and learn more about their cultures, traditions, interests and passions.
I'm really excited to see places that I've never been before as well. I enjoy the thrill of discovery and of unique, new experiences which are behind every great travel.
I am drawn by life and by all it entails. I enjoy learning about other people's life.I've learned over the years that it really isn't about what you do, it is who you do it with. To quote "into the wild" book, happyness is only true when shared.
I love nature (you can often find me in woods or on a shore as a silent observer of how this world works) and how human beings changes when they get truly in touch with the nature’s soul.
I am also drawn by abandoned industrial sites and running down buildings. Generally, everything to do with the reuse prickles my curiosity (how things change, die and come to life again with a new purpose).
It always struck me how mental connections and feelings work, how they can be made by just sight or a few words, how attractions can be popped out with only ideas.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I partecipate by being as much generous as i can be with regards to my accomodation and i shall try to meet as many people as I can in my travelling.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted some couchsurfers and decided to keep on playing my part into this amasing comunity. In this regard, apart from the traveller in the need, I usually like hosting either people who have been couchsurfers for a while or new members who have already hosted several people before surfing for a couch. That is because I do like meeting people who are really devoted and committed to the values and the ideals of the couchsurfing community.

Interests

I like reading, painting, diving, hiking, and basically backpacking. Also I like nearly any sport, even though i'm just average at most. I'm a really easy guy to get along with, though i can sometimes look pretty quiet at first.

Music, Movies, and Books

I never turn on the telly (come to think of it I am not sure I have got one at home!!!) but I don't mind watching a nice movie or programme if somebody asked me. I love going to the cinema and watching a movie in the original language (I hate the italian dubbing), reading books on my own (too many to list them sorry!!!) and listening to music (Dilan, Rem, Nirvana, Red Hot, Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones, Radiohead, Smashing pumpkins, good Jazz, Indie Music, but also classic music - Chopin, Verdi, Bethoven, etc). So much so that it's hard for me to say which ones are my favourites.

Teach, Learn, Share

everyone- especially people who share my interests (photography, painting, diving, travelling, reading etc)but I´d also like to meet people who know and do things I am unfamiliar with, people who can introduce me to new aspects of reality I didnt know about.
