ABOUT ME

About myself' Wow,I am good at fixing things, cars, houses,just about anything. I was told by someone the other day that people can never tell if I am happy because I am always smiling, the truth is I just find so much in the small things in life that can make me happy I am never out of things to smile about. I come from a background of hard work, so I am quick to do things that need to be done,and sometimes I forget to ask people if they even want me to do things for them, it's something I am working on. I love finding new ways of using old things, and I am always looking for new skills I don't have. I am someone who loves the earth and talk to her all the time. The first thing I do everyday when I wake up is rub my two big toes on each other for about five minutes, I love to cook, I love history, ecology, permaculture, and will talk with you for days about any of them. I have a sixty eight acer farm with free range chicked, ducks, geese and turkeys so I spend a lot of time trying to find ways of keeping them from getting into my Garden and eating everything, it is funny how my vegetables are in a cage and the birds are not.lol.. Primitive studies has been a big part of my life, but was never happy with just stidying so I have always been hands on with whatever I do. I love to paint, something about painting a portraits of people or scenes of everyday life has always calmed me....To tell the truth the vastness of who I am is something I can not tell anymore than it would be for you to tell me, I say we just talk about it and get to know each other..

PHILOSOPHY

Ok' This has been something that has been with me from a young age.. One day as a small kid my grandmother came to me and told me to hold out my hand. In it she put three pennies, she told me I now have all the money I will ever need for the rest of my life.One penny she told me is so I can give to someone who dose not have anything, that gives you two pennies, One of the two is so I will never be able to say I am penniless, the other one is so I always have more then I need..... I still have the same three pennys she gave me that day, and I keep the words with me every day to keep me from thinking that money is all life is for. The things and people I love most in this world don't cost even a penny.

If you find yourself around my home, I will show you the things that make Florida what it is, I will try and make it so you can feel at home even though you are far from yours, and will try and help you have a good trip in any way I can.

Music, Movies, and Books

I do not have a Television, I had one many years ago but oneday ended up sick of the time it took from my life so I took it outside and put it in my Garden.. I planted flowers in it so I can say there is something good on T.V. now.. lol as for Movies: Movies are something I do with friends, so for me it is not about the movie it is about the people I am with. It can be a bad movie but good friends always make it fun... Now books: this would take forever, but mostly I would say I love books that teach me something because I am always looking for new skills I can use in life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent a year and a half living in the forest with nothing but the clothes on my back,living off the land. It became something that changed how I look at life and my place in it, I spent that time by myself, this was no small undertaking, Yet being I had years of training on how to live that way I had the skills I needed to have it afforded me the freedom to take that time to think and get to know myself. After a short time I found that I stopped talking because I had no one to talk to so I went on for about a year not speaking. I can think of no place to start or end to tell you all the things I found out about myself and life most of them where things just for me to know, but they helped let me be set on the path I had always been on but kept myself off. I have had many ''Amazing'' things happen in my life,I have been able to hike about 1800 miles of the Appalachian trail, have been scuba diving with just about anything that lives in the Gulf of Mexico,have fallen to earth from 28,000 feet and been where birds fly. Climbed rocks in New Mexico,been spelunking in Colorado, been down rivers and up mountains.. Yet the thing I find more amazing then all of that, is that I have known, and loved, and been loved by some of the most beautiful people on earth. People who just the act of knowing them gives me more joy and amazement then any other thing ever will.
