About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To discover the beauty in the small, simple moments that come along each day. To go slow, to smile.

ABOUT ME

Single words that describe me. Calm, light, easy, pensive, peaceful, silly(sometimes), cheeky, content, observational, mysterious/interesting.
You'll find my company very easy (even if language is a barrier) and you will not feel stressed by having me around (often the contrary is true)

PHILOSOPHY

Go slow, enjoy the journey and when the world worries - stop, take a deep breathe and smile. Continue and repeat if necessary.
Don't like fighting/confrontation, but am very approachable if someone has a problem with me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm a young fellow who is very easy going and easy company to be around. I really enjoy being outdoors, especially in mountain areas. I'm also quite independant and gentle. In terms of being a guest - I'm as easy as they come.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Never couch surfed myslef - have hosted friends and travellers in my own house many times - been with couch surfing for a few years but never really used it

Interests

So, I really enjoy being in the mountains. Be that walking in them, swimming in their mountain rivers or flying over them in my paraglider. In fact, I spend a lot of of energy and attention to paragliding. Other activites - walking, mountain biking, wilderness wandering?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This is not an easy question to answer - The moments that leave me most awestruck are the ones in which I find myself in a beautiful place in the natural environment, at peace with the world, life and living. Moments of Solace really.
E.g. At home in the Australian alps (ski touring, flying)
