Currently looking for inexpensive and fun ways to experience Viet Nam outside of Ha Noi.

ABOUT ME

I'm a 21-year old Geography and Environmental Studies student, but I focus on cities. I'm just finishing a study abroad program which focused on urban development, politics, culture, planning and sustainability. It was a comparative program and I studied in New York, Sao Paulo, Curitiba, Cape Town, and Ha Noi. I have been very fortunate to have this opportunity to travel and see such different places, and now I have a few weeks to travel on my own in Viet Nam. I enjoy socializing and am looking for a more meaningful experience than just staying in a hotel. I'm friendly, flexible, and respectful.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I heard about CS from a friend, but have never used it before. I am interested in surfing for the next few weeks, and maybe hosting when I return to Minnesota (we'll see what the girlfriend thinks about that first).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have never used Couch Surfing before.

I hiked to the top of Lion's Head (a mountain in Cape Town) and watched the sun set and the full moon rise immediately afterward. It was beautiful.
