Overview
About Me
A bit of a nerd who dreams of seeing the entire world.
I love to go to concerts, relax by the beach, go on hikes, explore new places, meet new people, and just try to learn as much as possible about anything and everything. Very curious mind.
I don't drink often but when I do I do enjoy getting buzzed.
Used to do Crossfit, now I mostly gym. But certainly miss it. Sadly few boxes operate as gyms as well so having multiple memberships is not financially feasible.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Hoping to meet people on solo trips and open to hosting if the match is right. Might need to couch surf myself occasionally.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like most music, ranging from basic popular culture to underground music. I love artists ranging from Taylor Swift, Chapel Roan, and Beyonce to Drake, Belly, the Weekend to Buika, Celia Cruz, Fairuz, and much more. There are some music genres that I tend to enjoy slightly less but definitely don't rule them out like country and rock but there are some great bangers in those genres that I absolutely love so I do appreciate them for sure. The only music genre I cannot tolerate is metal. It just sounds like a bunch of angry white people #sorrynotsorry
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I don't know how to answer these. On the one hand I don't like to "show off", on the other, I feel like amazing is highly subjective- one person's amazing is another's banal daily routine. I am an immigrant, so I feel like having moved countries is amazing in itself. I have 2 grad degrees, that's "amazing". I speak several languages (so cool!). I make some mean banana bread and some darn good hummus. I also have organized conferences, met ambassadors and states people, spoken truth to power, led and attended protests... I drove a tuktuk in India and almost crashed into a cow (so stereotypical). I did a roadtrip across Baja California Sur in 2019, and a coast to coast roadtrip in Costa Rica in 2018. I was stuck in Ecuador for 3 months because of COVID. Hope this is enough?
What I Can Share with Hosts
Not sure what this means? I am new and haven't done this? But assuming this means what I can provide when being hosted, I guess what I can share with hosts is a courteous personality that is respectful, mindful, and happy to adapt/accommodate as well as share resources as long as there is clear and honest communication.
