About Me

What can probably describe me most is my passion for cultures. Since a young age I always enjoyed learning about people's different stories as well as creating my own unique life experiences. I grew up loving adventures and enjoying "going with life's flow!"
Memorable and enriching experiences are my everyday goals!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I see self-discovery as limitless and crucial to one's life. To me, it is a journey that I cannot walk alone but only with the help of people. This is why I am on Couchsurfing.
I long to continue my journey of self-discovery by meeting people from a plethora of cultures, countries, and backgrounds.
By being a host, I wish to contribute to adding to the lives of other people. I want to help them find the inspiration they might be looking for and offer them a new angle, from which they could see the world.

Also, I want to find hosts around the world that will help me do the same!

Interests

My interests are mostly cultural. Academically, I am mostly interested in studying humans and cultures, an interest from which derives my love for the field of anthropology.
Other than that, I like to travel to unique place, meet new people, try new things, and find inspiration and knowledge in experiences.
I also act, write, volunteer, and run leadership projects in my community.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen mostly to Afrobeats, pop, and any good song that might come my way. I am a huge fan of Adele.

I love comedy movies as well as social documentaries. I am a huge fan of Melissa McCarthy!

I like to read autobiographies that shed light on details, that go often unnoticed, about issues in certain societies or cultures. Some of my favorite titles include:
Slave (Mende Nazer)
Between two worlds (Zaineb Salbi)
Desiree (Annemarie Selinko)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Many:
1. Walking on frozen Lake Superior in the USA and seeing the ice caves that are usually rarely accessible on foot.
2. Hot air ballooning in Cappadocia, Turkey: a city carved by humans within volcanically formed mountains.
3. Swimming with dolphins in the nation island of Mauritius

Teach, Learn, Share

I also love teaching English. My first teaching experiences were at a young age. As I grew up, I was able to gain skills from different workshops and teaching positions. One of my proudest accomplishments is teaching English in 3 different countries. The cultural exposure and teaching skills that I gained are very precious.

I would love to continue teaching English to any interested travelers!
