Hi there! I’m Walker, and absolutely love traveling to new places, meeting new people, exchanging culture, and getting outside. I’m on Couchsurfing to be able to get to know the communities that I travel through, because it’s the people that truly make a place. I’ve had the incredible opportunity to experience life so vividly up to now, and I don’t have any intention of slowing down.

With the help of Couchsurfing, I was able to meet some amazing people and experience first-hand the kindness that the world has to offer. I hope I can pay it forward by offering my home to travelers looking for a place to stay and a friend in a new place.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to a ton of music! I love all types, but my main genres are hip-hop and soul with artists like Mac Miller, Kendrick, and Leon Bridges. I also love psychedelic rock, reggae, reggaetón, electronic, and cumbia!

For books, I love The Alchemist and other journey books like that. I just finished The Overstory by Richard Powers and it was super impactful.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I made the decision to do a year of study abroad in Santiago, Chile. I then decided to take 6 months away from school to travel in South America by myself. It is one of the greatest decisions I have made.
