I love good conversation with genuine, open discussion. Food is a huge passion of mine, and on free days I spend most of my time in the kitchen. I'm a big believer in lifetime self-improvement and trying to better understand yourself.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Hostels are fun, but they're not a great way to interact with locals. I often travel to get a better understanding of other peoples and cultures, and for that, CS is the way to go. The more I host and interact with travelers, the more I learn about myself and how different people really aren't.

Interests

I have a very eclectic taste in music, and I'm constantly looking for new stuff. If you have any suggestions, send 'em my way! I like to watch movies and TV, but who doesn't? I'm a sucker for a good board game, and I will be merciless in a game of Catan. Reading's fun, hiking's cool, and sometimes lying in the sun in the best thing in the world.

I love having conversations with people about history, politics, and culture. I find it fascinating to hear what other people think about their nationality, heritage, and place in the modern world. It's one of my favorite parts about traveling!
