我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Time is short, I wanna connect with good people where-ever I am. I haven't been active with couchsurfing lately, because these days I generally travel in a self-contained house-truck, which is not quite big enough to comfortably host anyone. But now I'm back in Europe for some gem mining work so I thought I'd use it again. Tis a wonderful tool.

I'm generally interested in most things, easily entertained, happily content. I'd much rather be outside than inside, in almost any circumstance.

I hitch hiked eastbound around the world once, starting with just $200. It took 2.5 years, was very difficult, and I don't think I'd recommend it.

I like to learn. Technically I am a "teacher" by profession, although what I "teach" is providing space for kids to climb trees, gut fish, make fires and learn plants (a.k.a. I hang out with kids in the woods while they learn things themselves, sometimes I play tricks on them to nudge them in the right direction...). I don't feel like much of a teacher, I'm more of a lazy, happy student of life.
