ABOUT ME

I am a young student born and raised in Geneva by an American father and a Sri Lankan mother. I like travelling a lot when i have the time and money and love showing people around geneva (also when i have the time and money).

I am relatively open minded, love to have fun and make stupid jokes. I am also into various sports. (cycling, trekking, swimming, wind surfing) I don't do much of it, but enjoy it when i do.

I have a tendency to party a little too much, but can keep the urge down when I need to.

1. At this time I am very busy so I may not be able to host that many people.

2. Please do not send me a request too much in advance. In fact I would rather you send me a request a few days before your arrival.

3. Please look at my available nights. I have them written down under couch information.

4. This is optional: bring something interesting to eat and/or drink from your home town. I love trying new stuff. (If you can't it doesn't matter.)

PHILOSOPHY

I love meeting people, having contacts in every country and having an "inside view" when i'm visiting. I try to be open minded, and love having new experiences. The only problem is that my heavy schedule does not allways allow me to do that.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I want to host people from other countries, show them around my home town and past the boring exterior that is sometimes apparent to passing travelers.

But I would also love to have a real place to stay in every country i go to because there is nothing like meeting people who really live in the country you are visiting.

I have had enough of seeing places only through the eye of a tourist.

I have made some really good friends in the places that I have seen.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Well I have hosted 3 people so far. And it has been great.

Edit:
I have now hosted 10 people so far and loved it. When people come to my place they have always brought their holiday mood with them and that makes me feel like I'M on holiday. Alos, I have now couchsurfed in quite a few places, namely stockholm and the states, and it has made my trip so much more interesting.

Couch surfing has made my life much more interesting!
