CURRENT MISSION

To learn to be accepting of whatever is front of me. These days, parenting is a full-time gig. My wife and I own a small Pilates/Massage studio in Jacksonville, Florida. Finding the balance between what needs to be done and what I'd like to do....that's the wave I'm riding.

ABOUT ME

I'm 43. My wife and I live in Vermont. I run an arts nonprofit center. We owned a healing center,, where we taught Pilates and massage. I have a master's degree in education and nonprofit leadership. I am a licensed massage therapist and got my university degree in journalism. Currently, I run an arts organization in southeastern Vermont.

I lived in Europe, Asia, Central America and North America. I've been involved in improvisational theater off and on for years. I've traveled to 25-30ish countries. I was the executive director for a 501(c) non-profit organization organizing community events. I like to play guitar and bass. I'm trying to make this place a better place to be.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've surfed and I've hosted around the world. I've made dear friends and had once-in-a-lifetime experiences. The ability to connect with passionate, positive, and interesting people in local places is powerful. May we all learn from one another.

The goal is not just to see a place, but to feel it and connect with it. That happens more easily through the eyes of locals They can help show you the reality of the space. CS is so important to connect the global community of open-minded and curious travelers.
