ABOUT ME

My wife Kathy and I live in this small town of Overton, quite the opposite of Las Vegas. It's the best of both worlds. I have two sons one lives with us the other lives with his mom in Vegas. We have one draft horse, one Arabian, 10 minature mediterranean donkeys, 12 chickens, 4 dogs (2 Maremma's, 1 Dalmatian, 1 Benji & 2 cats. We eat a few eggs!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Im a laid back surfer living too far from the water! I usually travel to the beach every month for a few days.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Mostly with friends in the younger days. Most memorable one was, my first trip to kauai with my surf buddies. We stayed in a treehouse. One bedroom/living room. It had no windows, just screens. One bathroom with a blanket for a door. Outside was the shower with no enclosure.

Interests

Wave riding is my all time favorite. By longboard, surf mat or body. Photography is fun, I like to take pictures on our trips. Checking out new places to eat like Mexican, Italian, Indian, and Thai. Just got certified in Scuba diving.

Music, Movies, and Books

Big Wednesday, Endless Summer, The Door's are some favorite movies. Musically Rock and Roll, probably a little bit of everything. Hawaiian is a favorite another is African. I read mostly Mags. National Geo., Surfers Journal, Hobby Farm, and the odd book.
