About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Be aware of what is happening around me, all the time.
PHILOSOPHY
The first thing to learn before anything else is learn to learn, the second learn to think and the last learn to observe what you are thinking without believing in it too much.
SOME RANDOM FACTS
I am a bit like a horse: I can't deal very well with too much abstraction and freedom but at the same time I am very impatient to jump the fence of the yard and see what's on the other side.
I can express myself well with visual arts, particularly painting
I play the guitar for fun and to connect with a group. I wouldn't want to be a musician as much as I wouldn't want to be a chef only because I'm good at cooking.
I really care about history. I'm not focused on the past, but I can't avoid investigating what have been collected and described on ourselves
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Alessandria is a relatively small town in a triangle between three of the most important cultural and industrial cities in the north-east of Italy: Milano, Torino and Genova.
It has been build to send troops of support to this three important fortresses in the middle ages and for that reason it has a great position in between them; 1 hour by car/train to each of them.
It is cheap and the history of the fortress is pretty amazing (The Cittadella, the first 'Italian' flag was raised here).
I offer my room with a double-bed to anyone interested in visiting this country and don't want to spend too much time in the big centers and is looking for a more provincial and authentic experience (my mum and grandmothers will cook for you all the time ;) )
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
visited 11 states (4.88%)
Almost every experience i have been involved in, have offered us time to exchange and combine out cooking skills.
I often write on my requests that i would cook.
It is something that i enjoy really much and I believe it is a great excuse to talk and meet the people a bit more further; everyone looks at you with different eyes when you touch their everyday moments such as the preparation of food and if you are attentive and watchful there are a lots of spontaneous behaviors that can be observed. I believe is something exciting in the process of meeting a person.
Interests
Liberal Arts,Gastronomy, Asia (not in order of importance. I skipped the obvious 'travelling, meeting people, culture..' as if I wouldn't be interested in those, I wouldn't be on CS).

Music, Movies, and Books
Anything that can give me a new way of remembering the past and imagining the future i.e. mostly experimental stuff, or the classics.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
-I read a book about awareness and the way to drop useless thoughts that keeps you away from realizing that almost everything you do is amazing.
-I taught myself to convert some of those notions into practice
-I notice very often when I am not following what I have taught myself
Teach, Learn, Share
Never teach for teaching's sake, teach to learn; never learn notions but always ways of teaching and share what you learn
What I Can Share with Hosts
Hopefully some good stories, create good memories and cook some great stuff!
