Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
live and learn :)
ABOUT ME
Curious and open-minded; interests in science, business (I've been part of a fair share of start-ups), jazz and other music, also folk music, cooking and good beers, visual/auditory art and walking by the water or in forests or mountains. I enjoy singing loud without remembering the lyrics precisely. I also love traveling, learning cultures and watching a good movie with friends, especially my girlfriend.
PHILOSOPHY
I think tolerance in the world is very important, especially when the borders are becoming more open and people move around. I reject the notion that we should close ourself in behind borders and fear of the unknown. :) Couch Surfing is a great facilitator in this regard. Be curious, listen to others, try to understand others and their premises, and remember yourself and your own roots. And balance all that. Life is to learn.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I hosted many people in Roskilde, Denmark. Now I live in Berlin in Germany in a nice small three room apartment with my girlfriend, and we can host two people in our guest room. I couchsurfed several times, and I love to travel and surf with my girlfriend!
Interests
Science and math, startups and business, playing piano, jazz and other music, singing, cooking and good beers and walking in great nature. I also enjoy art, visual, auditive media and good design. Of the more geeky stuff, i like programming languages, artificial intelligence and Linux.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like watching TED talks. Some of the books I remember are adventures by Michael Ende like Momo and The Neverending Story, the Silas books by Cecil Bødker, The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams. I love reading books and in particular books I didn't think of, but inspires me. That's why I joined a reading club. We read many interesting books: 1) Twilight wonders ("Tusørkeundere") by Sjón — a scientist/wizard in the 17th hundred Iceland; 2) Measurement of the World by Daniel Kehlmann — a scientist and mathmatician in 18th hundred Germany; 3) Angelas Ashes by Frank McCourt — a poor Irish family in 20th hundred; 4) Out of Iran by Sousan Azadi — rich woman escapes from Iran during the revolution in 1980'ies; 5) Slaughter Bench Dybbøl ("Slagtebænk Dybbøl") by Tom Buk-Swienty — the Danish-Prussian war in 1864; 6) Doppler by Erlend Loe — a norwegian guy that chance his life radically; 7) The Clan of the Cave Bear by Jean M. Auel — the life of prehistoric humans; 8) Grill by Ib Michael — Denmark, Yemen and the Iraq war; and many more.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
- Parachuting twice at the age of 18, it was an awesome experience.
- I had my own company since I was 19, and started a few already. Although I haven't founded my last yet :)
- Organizing some jazz events with young people with jaw-dropping talent.
