CURRENT MISSION

I've been in Chiang Mai, Thailand for the summer, doing an internship at an NGO school related to my school program, so doing a good job with that.

ABOUT ME

I don't like sleeping for less than 8 hours, but I do it every day. I guess that makes me kind of an idiot. In general, I like to think and use my brain, and am curious and very open to new experiences. I don't think people need a lot of material comfort to be happy.

PHILOSOPHY

There is humor in everything.

Most experiences are valuable, even if they're bad.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have surfed and hosted regularly at various points in my life, starting in 2007. I would guess I've had about 30-40 experiences in total, roughly split between surfing and hosting. For a time I went to couchsurfing meetings in Budapest to meet people and be social, and have participated occasionally in other CS events in several places... weekly meetups, language exchanges, etc... I've also introduced a bunch of people to the website.

I can teach you about music theory if you care to learn, or more likely, I have played guitar for a long time and can show you whatever i know about that, I can teach you how to cook some tasty food, I know a fair bit about certain topics, mostly those related to people and the things they do (history, politics, language, other cultures, etc).

I will learn about almost anything.
