About Me
!!! ATTENTION !!!
I am writing this in late August 2024. I have not logged on and hosted for about a year. And I have hosted less and less for the past few years. I do owe an apology to those who had written me here.
My main aim on CS is to meet and help those who explore, get to know people and enjoy the time. If you want to catch the couchsurfing waves at my place please read through my ''Home Info''!
I was born in Riga, in the year that happens to be a title of a book by George Orwell. I like water very much - being close to water, on some buoyant surface or swimming. Like Cycling, skiing and driving away from the town as well - being on the move feels good most of the time. Hiking and camping! Enjoy being in the process 'Let's make/take, let's feel wanted' but not one of those with much (any) passion for the most technology/gadget latest updates. I can enjoy playing guitar for hours, but if I consciously decide to practice then it can quickly become tedious for me.
Once I was rowing in this boat up and down the river - that reminded me few important lessons among which are: correct / fix the direction as soon as (the boat) starts drifting away from the chosen course and there is no point applying power if it is not accurately directed.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING - I edit my CS profile every now and then.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE -Has given me a great opportunity expose myself to different perspectives allowing me revisit some of my 'firm and unchangeable' attitudes.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Really enjoyed Melvins gig in London, December 2009; Trip to Banff (Rocky Mountains) was beyond my expectations and involved some CS action; Visited Seattle (which is place i got to know from my interest in music and as a teenager I also wondered if i will ever travel anywhere outside Latvia) and area where they shot Twin Peaks (TV series) happened to be located very close to Seattle. Playing guitar can be quite amazing for me.
Enjoy cycling to the seaside and going for a swim, one of the best ways to use the free time
