Hey there, I’m Dasha, I’ve been living in France for the last 5 years and I’m originally from Russia (with which i have love and hate relationship, pal… no war, glory to Ukraine!)

I’m based in Paris but I’m known for being constantly on the move - I have traveled around France for 2 years during COVID working remotely, ski-touring in the Alps, helping out on the farms and living in lovely communities of fellow remote workers.
I’m working in ethical AI research and have always been interested in socially beneficial aspects of it, even though I have my moments of deep frustration about it..
More than anything I love discovering interesting and interested people, building deep connections, spending time on the nature and living in a community.

Musica, film e libri

Pretty eclectic, I love a lot of different instrumental music from classical, jazz, world music (oh, Bulgarian choir music is my new obsession), alternative rock to some electronic music.
For the books, it’d be hard to name the favorites, but a few recent ones that stuck with me are “The Culture Map” of Erin Meyer, “A Little Life” of Hanya Yanagihara, “Art of Loving” of Erich Fromm. Currently, interested in reading more about the climate, Eastern European history, and various cultural observations.
For the movies, I love the classics… The Godfather, the Lord of the rings, movies of Tarantino, Wim Wenders, Emir Kusturica.
