About Me
ABOUT ME
I'm at the end of a long time abroad right now, and spent most of this year in Asia, the Caucasus and the Balkans thanks to a generous travel grant. I'm traveling for a few weeks through Europe before I have to go back to Seattle (hopefully to travel soon again)! I'm a former politics/economics student and love listening to people around the world talk about their opinions and views. Recently I was at the Greece-Macedonia border volunteering at a refugee camp.
I'm also an aspiring filmmaker and photographer. I'm getting braver at karaoke. I'm trying to learn to play all of David Bowie's "Young Americans," mostly on guitars in hostels. So far in Europe I eat only cheesy bread food so I need exercise, please help!
Other things I love: new languages, jokes. Let's hang out and share some!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've done a lot of couchsurfing in Indonesia, Turkey and Canada, and always have a great time, especially with folks who like talking about current events or the arts. I love getting new perspectives on things I've read about in the news. But with the right company, I'm totally flexible - down to go on nature walks or bar crawls or museum crawls or what have you.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Watched the moon rise at the top of a giant sand dune in the Gobi Desert.
Teach, Learn, Share
My idea of a great time is a rousing debate in the kitchen while cooking a bunch of food, drinking a bunch of wine, and sharing music together.
