About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To inspire the world to take on their dreams.

ABOUT ME

I recently got back from a 6-month pilgrimage walking from Irvine, CA to New Orleans, LA. Right now, I'm learning to reorient myself and return to a regular lifestyle - the challenges have been severe. For instance, I can't just eat cans of beans for a meal. Nor can I sleep underneath bridges anymore, they just don't let me do that!

But that's okay. I came back a little earlier than I expected to get back to graduate school and start fitting back the disparate pieces that are my life and passions.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that what we can on this Earth is to do our best. And that is all we've been asked to do.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I share my story and I listen to what others have to say.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've really enjoyed the people I've met; it's like meeting the people who would have been my friends in school. No bad experience, everyone has been quite enjoyable and quirky in their own beautiful way.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I took care of a baby mouse for a week on my trip. I fed, bathed, and slept with him, having him strapped on my body to keep him warm. On the first day that he opened his eyes and saw the world, he died of pneumonia.

I was deeply moved that such a small creature could impact me so much.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach a form of intersubjective meditation dubbed 'circling'. It's in an experimental form, but there's these rad spiritual geeks who are trying to push it into a formal philosophy and practice:
