About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To learn as many things from as many people as I can.

ABOUT ME

Hey! I'm a nomad. I can't really say where I am from with much accuracy since I've lived all over the world and don´t have a permanent home. It is an unalterable fact, but one I love and wouldn´t change for the world!

I like playing guitar and singing, big cities, reading, playing football, hanging out with friends and family, the mountains, airports (we all have our idiosyncracies), learning languages, sidewalk cafés, and having really meaningful, long conversations with people (especially late at night when everything seems a bit more surreal and otherworldly!)

PHILOSOPHY

Therefore I travel. (Yes, I stole that!)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I´ve been a member for a long time (!) but haven´t really gotten much involved until a couple years ago when I was pretty involved with the Buenos Aires group...since then I've been in a constant state of upheaval and moving so I haven't really been able to participate much. I hope that'll change when I move into an apartment of my own, but who knows when that will be...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

One memorable "couchsurfing" experience was at a family friend's house, which was being built in a small Berber village in the Atlas mountains of Morocco.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did bonfire-jumping as part of a Iranian New Year celebration near Ankara, Turkey.

Teach, Learn, Share

Pretty decent at guitar and would be happy to help any beginners out. Native English speaker too, with teaching experience...more than willing to help out there! If you're a beginner in Spanish I can help you out too.

Would love to learn/improve any language, especially Spanish, Arabic, and French; dancing, especially tango and salsa; also want to learn random "crazy" skills like fire-eating, handstands (sad, but true: I can´t do one), magic tricks, etc.; basically whatever you can teach me! Also really want to get into any outdoor activities like hiking, trekking, rock-climbing, kayaking, etc. so if that's your thing give me a shout--I would love to come along and learn some new things!
