ABOUT ME

My first and only rule is to do whatever makes me happy, without inflicting distress on other people. My goal in life is to improve the world. Nothing huge planned, but I want everything I come across to be the better for having met me. Positive reverberations will be passed along, and suddenly I've affected everyone in the world. You know, almost.I love the outdoors. I grew up in the country on the river. Camping, hiking, foraging, its all gravy. I like to play soccer, football, tennis, and I swim as much as I can. In the winter I get a bit more shut in, (being cold is less then my favorite sensation) but I do enjoy a good shred down the ski hill every now and then. I find dancing is a good way to keep warm, I got pretty into electronic music in the last few years, but my primary love is the blues. Man I love rock and roll. I play a sloppy mixture of piano, trumpet, and guitar. I also sang in a choir for a while, but I think they were better off when I left. I'm afraid tone-deafness runs in the family.My passion and artistic expression is in acting. I try to find time to explore that side of myself, but its a busy world! I also love reading and writing, and will go through phases where I don't see the sun for days, I'm so engrossed in the literary world.I enjoy a wide variety of activities, but I find that what makes any experience is the people you share it with. I like to be relaxed, and open minded. I'll try anything once. One day I'll be able to say that I have. You know...almost. I'd like to meet you. I'm sure you are quite rad.

PHILOSOPHY

As I mentioned above, my philosophy is to experience life in a way that leaves me ecstatic, without infringing on anybody else. I value Love, Art, Freedom, Philosophy, and Nature.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have mostly been surfing so far, but I cannot believe the interesting, inspiring, like-minded or different-minded people i have met. I am STOKED to see who I will meet next!

I worked on a commercial fishing boat in northern australia, right underneath papa new guinea. I have some crazy stories from that, to be sure.
