About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To discover new places, meet new faces, and leave influential traces..and always tie my shoelaces.

ABOUT ME

I just graduated from the University and have decided to embark on my first backpacking trip ever with my 2 best friends through Europe. My goals? To discover the beauty in other cultures, create new friendships with people from different parts of the world, eat as much fresh food as possible, see and appreciate the Alps, and take the things I learn in each place I visit back home with me. After this trip, I'm not so sure what will come next..but until then, I shall enjoy the journey 8)

PHILOSOPHY

Never get stuck in a boring routine. Realize the importance of constantly challenging yourself, learning, and exploring new things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I decided to become a part of this project because I believe that despite what I've been told back home, not everyone is dangerous and evil spirited, but rather, there are still good people in this world. I wanted to meet people from all over the world and share stories, ideas, and experiences with them. I think this is a very unique and incredible organization that enables people to travel in deeper ways than the typical tourist.. meeting locals, seeing the city/town from their perspective, meeting their friends, seeing how they live and exist in their environment, hearing their stories--that's all way more valuable as a traveler than signing up for the local tour bus around the city. Plus, when you really get to know other couchsurfers from different parts of the world, you realize that we all have more in common than you'd think!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I just began participating fairly recently in CS, and it has been extraordinary. All of my favorite memories and most interesting stories from my trip so far have been from my experiences with couch surfers. My hosts have been incredibly positive examples of what this project is all about, and I cannot wait to keep being a part of this org. in the future.
