Music, Movies, and Books

Books by Haruki Murakami, Neil Gaiman, Frank Herbert, George Martin, JRR Tolkien, JK Rowling, Milan Kundera, Christopher Moore, Chuck Palahniuk, Jonathan Safran-Foer; now discovering Lawrence Durrell and David Foster Wallace

Folk Music like Bird Courage, The Staves, The Decemberists, Cian Nugent, Iron&Wine; Alternative Music like 30 Seconds to Mars, All-American Rejects, Goo Goo Dolls, Train, Breaking Benjamin, Muse; Classics like Oasis, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Alanis Morissette, A Perfect Circle; I'm a 90's kid, go figure :))

Movies! I literally watch anything. As long as its entertaining and the plot's not one-dimensional (Solaris, Twilight, that Ewan McGregor-Michelle Williams movie - whatsitcalled?), I'd go for it. And I'd probably love it too. Current faves include The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, Pitch Perfect, & Rurouni Kenshin. All-time faves include You've Got Mail, Adaptation, & Hero.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Watching the sunrise in all sorts of places (Angkor Wat), and all sorts of situations (Full Moon Party). I'm not a morning person, so witnessing dawn always signifies something amazing for me.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love photography, and though I'm an eternal student of the art, I think I have enough knowledge now to impart something useful (photography buddy anyone?).

I also write for a living and the world of words is a constant source of fascination to me. I can totally nerd out to it for hours on end (like I'm doing now haha).

I also just got into scuba diving and we're still on our honeymoon phase, so I can't say no to any diving opportunities. I have a lot to learn though, and many hours of practice to burn before I can be any real expert.

Countries I’ve Visited

Cambodia, China, Indonesia, Japan, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Viet Nam

Countries I’ve Lived In

Philippines
