Overview
About Me
I am a happily married, adventurous 30 something. I have a very flexible schedule. My husband works a more conventional schedule.
I am a vegetarian and my husband is not and my kitchen is both vegetarian and omnivore friendly. We have four small dogs that do bark loudly at times and tussle playfully with one another (generally since they are little dogs they sleep 15-20 hours a day.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have a passion for learning about other cultures and meeting new people. Previously, my husband and I have hosted a German exchange student for a year and it was a wonderful experience that I wouldn't trade for the world. This past summer we hosted a Belgian exchange.

Music, Movies, and Books
My husband and I like ALL types of music, movies and books. If you'd like to share any great artists or authors feel free to send them our way!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The most amazing thing that I've done was adopt my rescue dog. He was in abysmal conditions in a puppy mill before being taken to the Humane Society. He is a hospice dog and he shows me everyday how to appreciate the life I have.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am a one stop guide for East Coast USA travel. I have been to every state on the Eastern Seaboard and can give you hints, tips, and tricks. If you'd like and my schedule allows I would be willing to show you around some of the landmarks close to my home. My husband and I are always happy to explain American culture, share a meal, help plan itineraries, etc. My exchange student told me that Americans are known for their hospitality and that is certainly true at my home.
I would love to learn:
* About Different Cultures
* Phrases/Practice World Languages
*Cuisine
* Travel: Stories, Tips, Tricks, Ideas
* Anything music and art related
*Writing
* Social Media
*Marketing
* Herbal Medicine/Holistic Healing
* Recipes
