ABOUT ME
We are a couple of grown up backpackers. Love to travel, learn, and experience. We are both anthropologists (Andria a PhD and Brian a BA), so we enjoy meeting new people and figuring out what makes them tick! Parents to a beautiful and energetic little boy.
PHILOSOPHY
Same as our mission - live simply!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
We are new members but have a comfy couch and blow up mattress to offer anyone traveling through the Hampton Roads area.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
We were drawn to this community because of our couch surfing experiences in Central and South America and Eastern Europe. We backpacked through these regions and rarely had to pay for a hotel room. We relied upon the kindness of open-minded, hospitable strangers. Andria spent 6 weeks in Hungary going from couch to couch. She stayed with 12 different people/families and is grateful to everyone of them.
